A copy of the American newspaper/poster 'Newsmap', distributed to soldiers, 2pp. large folio, Jan. 24, 1944 - the '228th Week of the War - 110th Week of U.S. Participation'. This newspaper contains news about the war fronts in Europe and North Africa, American humanitariam efforts, captured German soldiers as well as a large map of Eastern Europe. Of particular note is the verso, which shows highly detailed images of German uniforms for identification purposes. Fine condition.
