Original Japanese brown cotton flight jacket, with a rabbit fur collar and lined with sheep wool. Japanese pilot wings patch is sewn over the top right pocket. Stamped onto the storm flap are the manufacturing details, but the ink has faded over time. At the waist is a cloth belt with a silver buckle. The left side pocket, secured closed by a button, contains an electric plug used to supply current to heating elements in trousers (not present) and presumably to heat the entire suit for winter weather and high altitude missions.
