This lot contains nine framed antique engravings of Washington D.C. from the 19th century. Prints include highlights around the city such as Seventh Street, Ford's Theater, Monument Square, and the State, War, and Navy Building.

The largest measures 12.5" H x 13.0" L. Overall good condition, however a few of the frames are heavily worn.

From the estate and lifelong collection of William Garrett Hodges (1946-2014). Hodges was a Virginia-based dealer of fine arts, with specialization in prints and rare books, having collected for decades. He supplied and consulted various groups on antiquities throughout his career, including the White House, the Vice President's residence, the FBI, and multiple film and television series.
