Description
Unique English Handwritten Land Grant Document signed in London on July 21st, 1720 / 1721 | Iron gall ink on land paper | Approx. Size: 9.5" W x 7.25" H. The document appears to transfer all rights, titles & interests "in my Order and the Falls thereto" owned by M. William Payne in London as of July 21st, 1720, to George [Conrade] on May 13th, 1721. The document is signed by William Payne and George Conrade, and witnessed by D. Wa[r]kins, William [Goodgion], and an illegible name. Verso of the document states it was recorded May 13th, 1721. The text of the conveyance appears to be "I do hereby assign and transfer all my Right, Title & Interest in my Order and the Falls thereto belonging unto M. William Payne this Ysign of London July 21st, 1720"
