Description
Hand written and signed Franklin Delano Roosevelt (American 1882-1945) letter on Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland letterhead with New York city address, dated July 1, 1923, and reading, "Dear Mr. Bieber - / Thank you for the enclosed list I don't think I care for / any of them, as they are not / particularly interesting in their / contacts / Very Truly Yours / Franklin D Roosevelt", together with a black and white photograph portrait embossed "Pack Bros. / NY" circa 1932, framed. Note: Roosevelt was vice president of the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland in charge of New York, New Jersey, and New England from 1921 until 1928. He was also a partner in two law firms Emmet, Marvin & Roosevelt (1920-24) and Roosevelt & O’Connor (1925-1928).
