Two 17th century maps of the Straight of Magellan comprising, "Du Destriot De Magellan," circa 1669 hand colored engraving depicting the lower part of Terra del Fuego, by Gerardus Mercator (Flemish 1512-1594), likely from the Cloppenburgh edition of his "Atlas Minor;" together with "America Meridionalis", a hand colored map of South America engraved by Jodocus Hondius (Flemish 1563-1612).
