Description

Railroad Signal Lamp and Lantern Co. double wire guard lantern with P.&R. R.R. embossed on the shoulder. Minor denting on the top along with the manufacturing information. The body is in good condition with minor pitting, and the twist off bottom along with the Dietz burner pot and Plume and Atwood inside wick raiser are present. The globe is a clear extended base measuring just a touch over 5 1/2" tall and is cast with P&R RY. in what is supposed to be a rectangular panel. The ends of the panel are faint and not a great casting. The top edge of the panel also has some distortion. The top also has signs of solder work being done on the lid. Overall presents well.
