Description
Chinese, Qing dynasty, late 18th to early 19th century, the cylindrical-shaped brush pot carved in high relief with outdoor rocky landscape scene, and a panel with a Song dynasty poem by OuyangXiu titled "Rhythm of the Autumn Wind" expressing his political thoughts on a windy autumn evening. On a finely carved custom wood base with pine trees and lingzhi fungus.
