A Victorian ladies beaded mantle cape with embellishments of beads and lace trim from the Victorian period 1870s to 1900s time period, with impressive hand stitched black jet glass beading embellishing the front and back. Constructed from a black net background, hand stitched with black jet bead work in a round design with crosses. Metal hook and eye closure in front below neck line. Wide black floral scalloped lace on both side edges of front closure and hemline. Beaded tassels every 3 to 4 inches around hemline and collar. No lining.

CONDITION
In overall very good wearable antique condition. No discoloration, no damage or fading, and strong and sturdy. Some bead loss on tassels. Silk lining around neckline has shredded. Few small rips in netting.
