Four Wood Engravings Related to Animals. 1) Egg Mass, January 1966, number sixteen of twenty, numbered, dated, titled and signed by Albee, with further note in her hand, "Praying Mantis, hand burnished, Jap. Vellum, G.A."; 3 1/8 x 2 1/2 in.; 2) Prince, 1979, depicting a horse in bust, from an edition of seventy-five, numbered, titled and signed, 6 1/2 x 5 in.; 3) Goldfish, 1931, untitled unsigned first state proof, inscribed to that end in artist's hand, 7 3/4 x 6 1/2 in.; and 4) Peter Rabbit's Brother Died, untitled unsigned wood engraving in brown ink, signed in the plate, depicting a small grave with headstone lettered in a juvenile hand, matted, 8 1/2 x 6 1/4 in.
