Featured in this lot is this 1950 first edition copy of “Vigilantes Montana” by Professor Thomas J. Dimsdale, published by the McKee Printing Co. in Butte, Montana in 1950. This book is the correct and impartial narrative of the chase, capture, trial, and execution of Henry Plummer's Road Agent Band. The book contains accounts of the lives and crimes of many of the robbers and desperadoes and is interspersed with sketches of life in the mining camps of the "Far West". The condition of this hard cover book is good for its age, with a torn title page. The measurements of this book are 8" L x 5 3/8" W.
