Featured in this lot is this framed original painting called "Eagle Seizer," from Montana artist Tom Saubert. The painting features a wonderfully and professionally crafted gouache construction that features a Native man that is holding a dead eagle and coyote in the other hand wearing no shirt and sporting a charm necklace on the open plains. Tom Saubert is a native Montanan that graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1973 and remains committed to western regionalist and is well known for painting both historic and contemporary west, especially renditions of the people and culture of the Plains Indians. The condition of this framed gouache is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this framed gouache painting are 32" x 26" and the visible art measures 23 3/4" x 17 3/4".
