Description
Porcelain Vase, of baluster form, the slightly elongated cylindrical neck set with applied orange chilong handles accented in gilt, the body decorated with two large key fret bordered reserves containing pleasant mountainous river scenes with pagodas and fisherman, set on a ground of assorted polychrome floral sprays, the neck of similar design with numerous smaller shaped cartouches, set above a foot containing palmette, key fret and ruyi head borders, with light blue glaze interior and base, marked with Daoguang mark to base, height 42cm, Provenance: Purchased at auction from an Estate of a San Marino Family, California, then Private Collection, Canberra.
