Muhammad Ali signed Cover and Photos
A signed cover by Muhammad Ali, together with three photographs of Ali at his Pennsylvania training camp. The cover measures 5.25" x 5" (sight), Philadelphia, dated May 4, 1969. Ali has signed his name in large script "Muhammad Ali" beneath a caption at the top left corner reading, "Cassius Clay/May 4, 1969/30th St Station." The cover is matted and framed with a black and white photograph of Ali chopping wood during a photo shoot at his training camp cabin in Deer Lake, PA. Measuring 17" x 11.5" overall. Accompanying the framed item is a sheet with two photographs: one being the same chopping wood image and another of Ali pushing a massive boulder. The images were captured by Neil Leifer of Sports Illustrated on August 15, 1973. The two framed items have minor water damage and some slight warping. With a large and bold signature. All of the photographs have light toning and soiling. With an LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
