A Japanese 32-Bore Matchlock Pistol-Carbine Signed Kunitomo Sadayuki With Kakihan, Edo PeriodWith octagonal block-sighted barrel waisted at the flared octagonal silver-inlaid muzzle and decorated overall with chased parcel-gilt silver dragons amid clouds, the breech inscribed in gilt and silver 'Suke hira, echigo no kami' with worn date, and gilt Tokugawa mon, the bottom flat with further incised inscription, pivoting brass pan-cover, brass back-action lock (action defective) with iron serpentine encrusted with silver drops, cherrywood full stock with Tokugawa mon in gold lacquer on each side, brass mounts including heel-plate, brass trigger pierced with a hole, and original ramrod 28.5 cm. barrel
