BIOGRAPHY:
As a child growing up in Alabama I occasionally dabbled in art and took several art classes in college. It wasn't until my youngest child was two years old that I began actively pursuing painting. Painting became an outlet or an escape from the stresses of daily life and responsibilities. As my children grew so did my love of painting. I began taking painting classes locally and occasionally ventured off to art workshops where I could immerse myself into painting all day long for days or longer without life's little interruptions. Eventually, I found myself traveling everywhere from California to Europe to explore my fantasies.In 2012 my husband and I chose Petaluma to be our home. We love the energy, the discourse and the free-thinking way of California as well as the physical beauty and diversity of the land in Northern California that produces ample subjects for me to explore my art.
