"The Honorable Sr. Wm. Howe. Knight of the Bath & Commander in Chief of His Majesty's Forces in America". London: pub. John Morris,1778, together with a second hand colored example dated 1777, an earlier version from a different plate; and "Horatio Gates, Esq. Major General of the American Forces", pub. John Morris, 1778. Largest frame size: 19 1/4" high, 14 7/8" wide; sight size: 14" high, 10" wide. Toning, the colored example with visible damage and likely laid down. Appointment are required for pickup, and we will be closed on June 9th. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
