Shrine Auditorium Concert Poster Original First Printing. designed by John Van Hamersveld, for the Jimi Hendrix Experience appearing at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on Saturday night, February 10, 1968. This is a true first printing, with no fine print at the bottom and only the artist's name in the lower right corner. The background behind Jimi is the original white color, and not the silver found on repro's. This gem was printed on thick uncoated paper, measures 19 1/2" x 27.3/4". White creamy background behind Jimi's head. The poster usually started off white then usually turned cream colored, through age and natural toning, like this first-printing. Reproductions have the silver background. Overall in unrestored good condition according to the consignor. Three pin holes are visible on the top. Please see photos for condition.
