Hollow New Jersey Canada goose decoy, maker unknown. Some have attributed the goose to HENRY GRANT (American, Barnegat, New Jersey, 1860 - 1924). It appears to have an early working overpaint which has areas of craquelure and random flaking. Most joints have slight age separation along with some wear to the tail. The bottom has a large, flattened ballast weight held by four brass screws. In overall good to very good solid condition. 10-1/4''h, 7-1/2''w, 22-3/4''l.
