Condition
The canvas is unlined and retains its original stretcher bars. The canvas is relaxed. The paint surface is dirty. There is frame abrasion visible along the extreme edges. There is a defined, horizontal stretcher bar mark near the extreme top edge. There is thinly spaced, fine craquelure visible at center in the sky, notably in the white cloud. Upon inspection under ultraviolet light, there are no visibly apparent signs of inpainting or other forms of restoration.
