Pair of Bronze Dore Vases, After Eugene Provost (French, 1836-1885)
fourth quarter 19th century, decorated in a Bacchanalian theme, with putti picking grapes from a grapevine border and putting them in baskets, the lower portions decorated with satyr masques, the fluted bases with molded laurel wreaths, signed "Prevost".

Condition
No restorations or dents, but some minor rough spots along right side of one lip. Gilt surfaces with some scattered patination spots and wear, consistent with age.
