mid-19th century, Philadelphia, probably Cornelius, the Rococo Revival gasolier with pierced and scrolled arms separated by masques, molded with grapevines and grape-leaf-molded shade holders, set with shades concealing the cylindrical gas burners, the brass standard decorated with two tiers of molded masques, and the scrolled canopy with like decoration, not electrified.
