Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, YongZheng blue and white mythical beast cups. Potted with a shallow body, has an open mouth, slight flaring mouth rim, deep arced body, raised on small ring footed base with slight concave. This bowl in blue and white fine color, is an excellent object on exterior with delicate mythical beast, vapors and circle of Ruyi patterns surround the outer. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings, Made In The Years of YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
