Description
This is a beautiful Antique Royal Crown Derby Large Oval Serving platter in their antique and very rare 8855 pattern.
This is very rare piece and really hard to find pattern.
The platter is decorated with rich gold gilt decorations at the rim.
This amazing piece is both Ageless and Timeless
It will be a great gift - to yourself or a loved one.
The platter is accordingly marked with print and impressed Royal Crown Derby marks.
The cipher under the dates it in 1911.
The platter is 15" by 12 1/4".
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
It is possible to have some very minimal crazing if any and some utensils marks, consistent with its age .
There is a small repair on the rim - please see the pictures
It has some wear on the inner gold line.
Exceptional collector’s piece. Would have a place in any china collection.
