Date: c. 1880
Description: Drawing and watercolour ink drawings on paper in a hardcover book. With 21 sketches of Swedish wooden houses in the countryside mostly standing near the river, including: barns, mills, village scenes by the river. Also: portraits of trees, nature studies of trees, shrubs, leaves and branches. Charlotte Fjellstedt was probably the daughter of the amateur artist Richard Roly Gottlob FJELLSTEDT (1838 Smyrna - 1892 Västra Harg/Östergötland). An artist who also devoted himself mainly to watercolours and drawings and in whose oeuvre similar landscape themes can be found.

Condition
Good condition. The binding is bumped at the corners. The spine is worn and detached at the bottom. The leaves are in very good condition. Fingerstained in the lower right corner where the hand turns the page.
