The inscription across the lower margin has been partially skinned which is why much of it is illegible. The skinning does not go all the way through the sheet and does not extend into the image. The paper is toned originally, but there does appear to be some extra darkening of the sheet due to time and light. Framed under plexi and an acid free top mat.
