VERY FINE PAIR OF WOOD DUCKS by Charles Spiron, Goldsboro, NC. Very good original paint and structural condition. Hen with one-half inch dent to side. Raised wing tip carving and broad tails. Comb paint to drake's sides and paint ticking to breast. Drake with curved carved crest. Hen is carved in an alert position. Both retain glass eyes. Both bills with carved nails and mandibles. Maker's name carved in bottom. Overall length of the drake is approximately 13 1/2 inches; the hen measures approximately 13 3/4 inches. A very fine pair by this maker. 200-300
