the gold medal the Winchester College Queen Victoria gold medal, the obverse with young head bust of Victoria, the reverse with tomb of William of Wykenham at Winchester, the edge engraved with 'LIONEL PIGOT JOHNSON SCHOLARIS MDCCCLXXXV, the design by Benjamin Wyon, together with a silver medal also designed by Wyon and inscribed 'LIONEL PIGOT JOHNSON PITT CLUB EXHIBITOR FROM ST MARY'S COLLEGE WINCHESTER Elected 27th July 1886', the obverse with a portrait of William Pitt, inscribed 'THE RT HON WILLIAM PITT BORN 1759 DIED 1806...'
