TWO BLACK AMERICANA BISQUE FIGURINES. 5 ½” H. bisque figure of black-complexioned girl with painted hair and features, holding a little white doll posed on the edge of a open bisque barrel marked “World’s Fair St. Louis 1904”; 8” yellow bisque woven basket with lid opened and little black-complexioned boy with painted hair, features and white shirt is holding a bisque chicken, marked on the bottom with sunburst insignia. Commentary: Unusual figures of good quality; boy with chicken figure has roughness at upper edge of lid opening, otherwise all good condition. Estimate: $100/300
