Description

DESCRIPTION: An Italian De Simone hand painted polychrome glazed pottery framed tile hand painted in vibrant colors such as red, blue, orange, green and yellow; featuring a depiction of a man riding on a horse in a traditional military costume and hat. With "De Simone" hallmark signature. Framed.

DeSimone pottery was created by Italian artist Giovanni De Simone. He opened a pottery studio in the 1960s and had several artisans working with him to create bold and bright ceramic pieces inspired by traditional Sicilian art.
