The photographs in this portfolio are from 4 sessions promoting Garbo's films for MGM. They include portraits for "The Kiss" (1929), "Inspiration" (1930), "Susan Lennox: Her Rise and Fall" (1931), and "Mata Hari" (1931).

In 2005, on the 100th anniversary of Garbo's birth, the U. S. Postal Service issued a commemorative stamp honoring her achievements on the silver screen.
