Description

Very nice early (1840s-1860s) Victorian mahogany travel writing box with original brass inkwells and calendar movement. A fine traveling writing box unit having a fitted and removable stamp storage unit over a double door slant front over 1 long single drawer. The slant front with letter holders, 2 cut glass inkwells, and pen holders. Internal drawer slides out effortlessly as it should. Surface wear present indicative of age and use with crack on boxes left side door. Some scratches; no key to include. Approximately 13"T x 13.5" L x 10" W, please see photos.
