Tavola originale realizzata da Pratt tra il 1966 e il 1967 per la pag. 18/A di "Sandokan", la leggendaria riduzione a fumetti del classico salgariano rimasta inedita per 40 anni fino alla pubblicazione sul volume "Sandokan" dalla Rizzoli Libri nel 2009. Durante la metà degli anni ’60 lo sceneggiatore Mino Milani affidò all’amico Pratt la riduzione del celebre romanzo di Emilo Salgari per il CdP, il maestro di Malamocco si gettò con entusiasmo in questa impresa finchè però nel 1967 non accadde qualcosa, l’enorme successo riscosso per la prima avventura di Corto Maltese "Una Ballata del Mare Salato", Pratt quindi abbandonò il progetto di Sandokan lasciando così la storia incompiuta e inedita per oltre 40 anni. Un pezzo da museo.

Original comic art made by Pratt between 1966 and 1967 for page 18/A of "Sandokan", the legendary comic strip adaptation of Salgari’s classic which remained unpublished for 40 years until its publication in the volume "Sandokan" by Rizzoli Libri in 2009. During the mid-1960s the screenwriter Mino Milani entrusted his friend Pratt the reduction of the famous novel by Emilo Salgari for the CdP, the master of Malamocco threw himself into this enterprise with enthusiasm, however, until something happened in 1967, the enormous success of Corto Maltese’s first adventure "A Ballad of the Salted Sea ", Pratt then abandoned Sandokan’s project thus leaving the story unfinished and unpublished for over 40 years. A museum piece.
