Lorraine B. Newton (American, 20th Century) Painting. Title - Seminole Indian Woman. Oil on masonite painting depicts a Native American Indian. Signed lower right Newton with artist monogram. Painting measures 20 inches high, 16 inches wide. Frame measures 25.75 inches high, 21.75 inches wide. The painting has the artist's address label of Punta Gorda, Florida on the reverse and is inscribed - Cleaned and revarnished by Laura Robinson - August 2003, excessive flaking of paint - painted in. Painting is now in good restored condition.
