Assyria, ca. middle 2nd millennium BCE. Very fine hard stone cylinder seal dating to period V, drilled and carved in low relief with scene of a bearded hunter, weapon in right hand, left hand extended and apparently striking a horned antelope; series of graduating slashes behind the slain beast, a deer running left and avian above. Comes with clay impression. Size: .875" L (2.2 cm)
