Description
French Renaissance style halberd pole weapon, likely a ceremonial example, with its ironwork being dark brown in color, the halberd was a primary weapon from the 13th to the 17th centuries, this pattern having a double edge spear blade approx.10"l extending out from the center of the engraved double side hook and crescent form axe blade embellished with scrolled engraving including faces and a central raised face surrounded by rays, this section 9.3/8" at its widest point, the blades never sharpened, all attached to a nail studded hardwood pole mounted with the tubular socket, the pole descending to an iron covered pointed base, overall approx. 93.5"l Start Price: $150.00
