Description
A Chippendale walnut chest-on-chest Probably Philadelphia, PA, circa 1770
(H: 71 1/4 in. W: 40 in. D: 23 in.)
In two parts, the upper section with flat molded cornice, over three short drawers over three graduated drawers, the lower section with waist molding, over three graduated drawers, molded base, on shaped ogee feet.

Property from the Ron Wohlrab collection of Salem, New Jersey.
Condition
scattered mends to drawer corners, wear to drawer corners, wood spring locks to upper drawers removed, half face of rear left foot off- but accompanies piece. Lower half of right front foot is a replacement. Most of old foot blocking in place. Knot hole plug to bottom drawer in upper section, and another to case side. Age cracks to both sides of lower chest. Warm dark surface. Has been refinished.
