Description
A Colonial Williamsburg mahogany 'Blackwell Serpentine Chest' in the Philadelphia Chippendale taste, manufactured by Stickley, circa 2005, a modern reproduction of the original 'Blackwell Serpentine Chest' that descended through the Stryker and Blackwell families of Germantown, Pennsylvania, the rectangular top with canted corners and serpentine front above four cock beaded graduated drawers, flanked by blind fret carved canted corners, raised on substantial ogee bracket feet, with applied manufacturer's label to the inside of top drawer.
