Description

Ca. mid 19thC. excellent with no breaks or repairs. Dogs spotting a partridge, titled: "Chasse a la Perdrix". A finely cast original 19thC antique bronze group by the French animalier sculptor Pierre-Jules Mene (1810-1879), considered one of the pioneers of animal sculpture in the nineteenth-century, a master of the lost wax technique. This statue is dated 1847.

Condition

This piece is in very good condition with age appropriate patina and wear.
