Titled "The Erudite Dog," depicts a humanoid dog wearing a striped coat and long pointed hat against a red background, part of the "Mon Cirque" series. Buffet studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts with exhibitions world wide. His works can be found at the Tate Gallery, J. Paul Getty Museum, Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, National Gallery of Canada, and ARTAX.
