Baccarat mark. Box covered in shimmering silver paper simulating taffeta. *Madame Balouzet Tillard de Tigny was a French aristocrat, passionate about sports. When very young, she won many tennis tournaments, and also became an avid golfer. Always dressed in haute couture, she had a difficult time finding sportswear chic enough to suit her taste. Therefore, in 1919, under the pseudonym of Jane Regny, she opened her own couture house specializing in high-end sportswear.
