Vintage c1940s blue basket quilt measuring 84" x 83", comprised of 9 basket blocks 12" x 12", set on point 3 x 3 , with alternating white setting squares and triangles. There is a 16" wide blue border. It is hand and machine pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted with thin cotton batting, and a white cotton reverse. Edge is finished knife edge style by machine. It is in poor condition with significant fading, dark spots, ink marks. Believed to be from York County, Pennsylvania. Will include a copy of provenance provided. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
