Description

Antique c1850 Shoofly Variation Quilt measuring 101 x 101 inches. Comprised of 81 squares, set straight 9 by 9 with 41 shoofly variation blocks with a turkey red print and alternating solid white squares. There are 4 borders measuring 14 to 16" wide. It is hand pieced and hand quilted with thin cotton batting and white cotton reverse and a thin 3/8" wide applied binding. The alternating squares have several different floral motifs hand quilted. It is in good condition with some small spots and some of the dyes in the turkey red are starting to pop. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
