Antique c1880 Broken Star Variation Quilt Top Measuring 75x85 inches. The center star is about 28 inches wide with a 57" pieced broken frame surrounding it. There is a 4 inch wide inner red print border and a 5 inch wide outer green print border. The top is hand and machine pieced. It is just a top with no backing, batting, or quilting. It is in good condition with a few small spots. Very unique to see this pattern in the 19th century and interesting to see that many of the diamonds are pieced with different fabrics.
