ASSORTED EUROPEAN CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF NINE, comprising an Atelier Mottahedeh Japanese Kakiemon-style red- and blue-spotted figural guardian lion/foo dog, a Leeds Pottery reticulated basket and stand, a Wedgwood jug with relief hunt scene and molded dog handle, and five Delft floral motif examples including a covered ginger jar, a 10 5/8" D footed bowl made for Colonial Williamsburg Restoration, and an 11 3/8" D scalloped rim plate having two holes to foot ring for hanging. Marks to underside include impressed leaf mark with "LEEDS POTTERY / MADE IN ENGLAND", hand-brushed jar with "Delft", "MADE IN HOLLAND", printed "WEDGWOOD / OF ETRURIA / & BARLASTON / MADE IN / ENGLAND", "Burghley House", "Atelier Mottahedeh", and various numbers and letters. Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles), Delft, Netherlands; Atlier Mottahedeh, Portugal. 20th century. 8 1/2" HOA.
