Description
CHINESE / JAPANESE EXPORT PORCELAIN ARTICLES, LOT OF 13, including a covered pot de creme having bright polychrome decorations including a pagoda and figures, a famille rose 3 3/4" HOA vase pair, a rectangular box-form inkwell with spout and cover having three holes featuring bird and flower motif, a Kutani-style figure of a woman holding a scroll, and a pair of famille rose miniature vases featuring children playing and flying kites. Marks to underside include red four character mark, red shop mark, "12", and blue stylized floral mark. Probably 20th century. 7 3/4" HOA.

Seven undamaged, except some having minor scattered wear to enamel and/or gilt decorations; pot de creme cover with minor chip to interior flange; inkwell having minute flake to spout; two matching cups having faint rim hairline; saucer with bird and flower motif having very minute rim chip with associated faint hairline; miniature compote having professional restoration to rim.
