Pre-Columbian, Central America, Panama, Gran Cocle culture, ca. 800 to 1000 CE. A gathering of five hand-built pottery vessels of varying sizes. The smallest has a spherical body atop a trio of nubbin legs. The second is a squat bowl with ring handles and three tab-shaped feet. The third is a pedestal bowl with a flared foot and a cream-slipped basin. The fourth is a small jar with an abstract anthropomorphic face hidden beneath the flared rim. The largest vessel is also a face vessel only with a less-flared rim and a trio of attenuated feet. Size of largest (face vessel w/ three legs): 5.5" W x 5.375" H (14 cm x 13.7 cm).

Condition
Largest vessel has repair to one leg. Tripod vessel with tab feet has loss to one foot and stable fissures around break area. Each item has abrasions and nicks to rim, feet, and body, with light encrustations, and fading to original pigmentation where applicable. Light earthen deposits throughout.
