This car is a complete Los Angeles car! Built in Van Nuys and kept in the greater LA area. Car shows very little rust!

UPDATE: We have lifted the back seat and did find the original build tag that states JOB # c202 3025, STYLE 2437? 711, COMB D 55 (scratched), DECK blank

The ticket # is #01052 on original cream colored card stock paper.

The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is a high-performance version of the second-generation Chevrolet Camaro.

It was introduced in 1967 as a homologation special for the Trans-Am Series, and it quickly became one of the most popular muscle cars of its era.

The Z28 was powered by a 302 cubic inch (4.9 liter) V8 engine that produced 290 horsepower. It was paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and it could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.4 seconds.

The Z28 also featured a number of performance upgrades, including a stiffer suspension, a limited-slip differential, and heavy-duty brakes.

Overall, this car is a strong candidate for restoration and has the majority of it's model correct parts

Assessment of 1969 Z28 Camaro, appears to be a X33.

Vin 124379L527927 which matches cowl tag & under window grill on passenger side.

OD shows 75,426 miles.

The listed points identifies what was found during a visual inspection of this vehicle.

As there were no keys available, I am unable to grade the running gear or the drivability.

Without putting the vehicle on a lift there was also no way to perform a complete undercarriage inspection. It has very minimal rust for the age.

It could be a good project but it is not confirmed that it is an original 302 engine.

Details;
>The car has been repainted in blue similar to the original color but is faded, paint quality is poor.
>Left front fender appears to have been removed, missing bolts, rust in the lower rear corner.
Right front fender severely damaged at antenna hole.
>Grill is badly damaged with right side missing and right headlight damage.
>Right rear roof area above rear tire is buckled from some type of prior damage.
>Right door seam is very poor fit at latch edge.
>Trunk could not be inspected, but we have photos, no keys
>Rear window, lower left, has small rust through into trunk. Can not confirm trunk damage.
>Rear end numbers shows to be 3.73 posit 12 bolt, but gear ratio not confirmed
>Transmission is said to be rebuilt but based on linkage adjustment it may have a synchro or slider problems, bent shift fork or shifter linkage issue.*
>The transmission may be correct but without access to a lift or the ability to drive the vehicle the transmission could not be confirmed correct for this car. Aftermarket headers block the view of ID number location without better access.
>Carb is not correct for the car, has an aftermarket 780 Holley, List 3310
>The engine does not have the original heads and the block numbers of "27" are readable on the pad, which corresponds to the first two numbers of the production run of 27,927 of these cars produced.
>Power steering pump does not sit correctly on engine, missing or bent brackets.
>Wheels may not be correct for this year.
>The interior shows excessive ware on the drivers side carpet.
> Right sun visor missing.
>Both door panels have been cut for speakers.
>Rear package tray cut for speakers
>Headliner is torn at rear bow.
>Dash pad failing at edges.
>Gauges appear complete but have minor fading. Cannot confirm gauge function due to no keys.
>Drivers rear quarter window appears to be coming off the track and does not close correctly.
>The steering gear box has been adjusted and the current setting is at its max adjustment. The steering linkage appears to be original.
>Rear leaf springs appear to have been recently replaced.
>Left and right floor pan near door threshold area have old exhaust hangers welded to them possibly from some type of side exhaust system that was removed.
