Bound in speckled sheep. ************ A very scarce instructional for children in colonial America. Evans, 2876. With contemporary Massachusetts provenance, front blank inscribed to Ezekiel Northend, and later with signatures of Elizabeth Northend and Wade Cogswell (both descendants of Ezekiel Northend.) It appears that the author Henry Gibbs may have been a relative of Ezekiel Northend.

Binding in nice condition, intact. Contents with some foxing and a few minor stains, Good.
