Archive of twelve (12) paper ephemera and obsolete currency items, most Tennessee related, including one (1) Slabbed 1779 United States $45 colonial currency note, issued on January 14, 1779, printed by Hall and Sellers, serial number 132445, includes a handwritten note indicating that this was the last pay issued to Guilford Dudley, a Revolutionary War soldier; three (3) circa 1818 Fayetteville, TN obsolete bank notes, including one (1) $20 note, serial number 209, one (1) $10 note, serial number 1366, and one (1) $1, serial number 18; one (1) printed pamphlet titled A LYSTE OF SACRED HYMNES AND TUNES, played and sung at a concert at the Masonic Hall, Church Street, Nashville, on February 16-17, 1824, printed by Wheeler, Marshall, and Bruce, Nashville, 1824; one (1) printed booklet titled HILL'S TENNESSEE, ALABAMA AND MISSISSIPPI ALMANAC AND STATE REGISTER, FOR THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1844, No. 1, Vol. 19, by J.B. Hill, printed, published, and sold by E. Hill, Fayetteville, circa 1844; two (2) Confederate currency notes, issued in February 17, 1864, including one (1) $100 note, serial number 85789, and one (1) $5 note, serial number 82685; one (1) printed booklet titled ANNOUNCEMENT. W. E. WARD'S SEMINARY FOR YOUNG LADIES. printed by the Nashville Union and Dispatch, Nashville, 1866-67; one (1) printed Broadside program for an opera titled LOVE AND TREACHERY, A DRAMA IN FIVE ACTS, given by the Daughters of the Confederacy for the Benefit of their Chapter and the Confederate Veterans, on Friday, April 23, 1897; one (1) printed Tennessee Centennial Season Ticket, No. 1558, valid through May 1-October 31, 1897, with an affixed picture of a young boy, presumably the ticket holder, printed by Security Bank Note Company, Philadelphia, circa 1897; and one (1) printed postcard depicting a black and white photograph of the Citizen's Opera House, 1st half 20th century.

Property of the Lincoln County Museum, Fayetteville, TN; Bequest of Mary Bright Wilson (1909-2004), formerly of Fayetteville, and descended in her family.
Condition
All items in overall good condition with tears, largest 3", toning/acid burn, foxing spots, areas of loss, staining, to be expected from age and manner of use.
